As with the 12-gauge version, Ultraleggero retains the technical innovations applied to lighten the steel-receiver shotgun derived from the 690 platforms.
The introduction of the 20-gauge brings a further weight reduction to about 2.5 kg with a 61-cm barrel. The technical solutions adopted to make Ultraleggero the lightest steel shotgun are still in place: the “skeletonized” receiver on the sides and the bottom with technopolymer inserts, the Steelium® Optimabore® HP barrels without side ribs, the selected walnut stock with an increased stock cavity, the aluminum trigger guard, and the Extralight® recoil pad.
The solidity and reliability of a steel receiver with an extremely low weight make for a lightweight yet sturdy shotgun ideal for hunters looking for a fast-handling gun that swiftly gets onto the game.
