Cincinnati, Ohio– February 2023– Faxon’s Pistol Barrels are machined 100% in-house from stress-relieved 416-R stainless steel (Match Series) or 4150 CMV steel (Duty Series). These barrels are then given a black Nitride or PVD coating to increase lubricity, barrel life, and resistance to surface wear.

All barrels are conventionally rifled to allow a broader range of ammunition to be used, including cast lead. The barrels drop into factory-spec slides with no gunsmithing required. Better-than-factory tolerances ensure a consistent, tighter lockup than OEM.

Faxon’s New 24″ Match Series 6mm ARC Barrel:
Manufactured in-house from high-quality bar stock, the Faxon Match Series starts with 416-R in 5R rifling. 5R is a hybrid rifling, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles that minimize jacket deformation increasing velocity and easy cleaning. After rigorous testing, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out, locking in the bore, improving barrel life, and keeping the elements at bay.
