327 Federal Magnum delivers terminal ballistics on par with 357 Magnum, but revolvers in 327 Federal Magnum can hold an additional round over similarly sized 357 guns. This additional capacity, plus the ability to safely fire 32 H&R Magnum, 32 Long, and 32 S&W makes the 327 Defender T.O.R.O. an extremely versatile choice as a carry gun.

Based on the best-selling Taurus 605, a 5-shot compact frame 357 Magnum, the new 605 Executive Grade gives shooters the upgraded stopping power they’ve been asking for.
“The number 1 question we were asked when we launched the 856 Executive Grade in 2022 was from shooters that wanted a 357 Magnum, so we did exactly that,” said Caleb Giddings, Taurus USA’s General Manager of Marketing. “This new Executive Grade also brings along one of my favorite features from the Judge Executive Grade, specifically the brass-rod front sight.”
The 605 Executive Grade accepts the same speed loaders as other common 5-shot revolvers. Shooters can elect to use potent 357 Magnum ammunition or lighter-loaded 38 Special, including +P loads. The 605 Executive Grade’s polished finish and hand-tuned trigger make this gun as nice to look at as it is to shoot. Use it as a BBQ gun thanks to the presentation-grade wood grips, or tuck it in an IWB holster as your go-to CCW piece.
