East Alton, Illinois– April 2024 — Team Winchester members Connor Daniel, Mike Wilgus, Desi Edmunds, and Zach Kienbaum put on an impressive showing at the recent Gator Cup in South Carolina, taking home top honors in several events.
With more than 750 shooters, The Gator Cup: Powered by Winchester is known for being one of the biggest and best sporting clay tournaments in all of America. The event took place at Back Woods Quail Club in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Wilgus shot a 100 straight in the Super Sporting event, a major achievement that added to his overall event accolades.
Team Winchester placements included:
- Mike Wilgus: Main Event – Veteran HOA, 4th Overall, FITASC – Runner Up, AIM Shooting Prelim- 2nd (VTCH), 5-Stand – Veteran HOA, Super Sporting – HOA
- Connor Daniel: Main Event – Junior HOA, 3rd Overall, FITASC – Junior 3rd, AIM Shooting Prelim – 3rd (JRCH)
- Desi Edmunds: Main Event – Lady Runner-Up, 5-Stand – Lady 3rd, Super Sporting – Lady 3rd
- Zach Kienbaum: 5-Stand – 3rd
