WHAT: A dedication event to celebrate the addition of 172.58 acres, acquired through a partnership with Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever, at Willow Slough Fish & Wildlife Area (FWA).

BACKGROUND: The 172.58-acre public property was acquired through Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever’s Build a Wildlife Area (BAWA) program and Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration funds. The parcel is Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever’s first BAWA property in Indiana. The ceremony celebrates the habitat and recreation opportunities offered by the new parcel and by the recent renovations at Willow Slough FWA’s iconic J.C. Murphey Lake.
