Brian Brandt and Maddi Reed Take 2024 Triple Crown of Rimfire

Sedalia, Missouri– Congratulations to Team Lapua members, Brian Brandt and Maddi Reed, who took the podium at the 2024 Triple Crown of Rimfire. Both competed with Lapua’s Midas+ rimfire ammunition, Brandt captured first place firing 292-144X and Reed finished third tallying 278-129X.

The 2024 Triple Crown of Rimfire week of events was held May 21-26 at the Kettlefoot Rod & Gun Club in Bristol, VA. The week of competition brings the most prestigious and toughest competitors to compete for titles and cash prizes. The Triple Crown Week consists of a series of multiple events across three different rimfire sanctions including ABRA, IR 50/50, and the PSL Precision Quest Products (PQP) Benchrest Brawl, ARA Area 3 Tournament, and finishes with the Triple Crown.

Brandt had a clean sweep across the week’s events, winning the PSL, Area Tournament and for the second consecutive year was crowned the King of the Triple Crown. In addition, he placed second in the PSL segment, third in the IR 50/50, and sixth in ARA.

“Team Lapua had a great week in Bristol this past weekend for the Triple Crown of Rimfire week of events,” commented Reed. “Team Lapua was 1st and 3rd in the Triple Crown of Rimfire over 3 segments and 3 different sanctions overall out of 96 competitors! What a weekend in Bristol this year!”

Along with the third-place finish in the Triple Crown, Reed placed fourth in the Area 3 Tournament and fifth in the IR 50/50 and ARA.

Both Brandt and Reed will be competing at the upcoming ARA Area 4 Tournament at Reed’s rimfire.?
