Thousands of veterans and youth participate in hunting in Mississippi every year. Through its Preserving the Hunting Tradition Program, Whitetails Unlimited provides grants for the installation of food plots and corn feeders for use during youth and veteran hunts. Proper management helps maintain wildlife populations at levels compatible with their habitat, provides wholesome recreational opportunities, and permits the use of a valuable renewable resource.
