Titanium is also naturally corrosion-resistant which makes it perfect for hunting in harsh hunting conditions. All of Weatherby’s titanium actions are machined in Sheridan, WY with the tightest tolerances and attention to detail.
The Backcountry Guide series features Peak 44’s Blacktooth Stock. The forend of this stock integrates two Spartan Precision gunsmithing adapters for seamless compatibility with their ultra-light accessories. The stock’s 3DHex recoil pad was designed to tame even the largest of Weatherby’s magnum cartridges. As recoil is absorbed into the pad’s honeycomb structure, the hexagonal voids begin to collapse and disperse the recoil’s energy turning that sharp kick into a gentle shove. Each stock is hand-painted to give it a one-of-a-kind look on every rifle.
The deep spiral-fluted bolt design cuts weight and reduces the overall bearing surface area of the bolt resulting in a smoother more reliable bolt cycle.
The Backcountry Guide series comes with a shorter BSF barrel and the threaded muzzle comes with a machined titanium Accubrake ST. (⅝-24)
The Backcountry Guide comes with an adjustable TriggerTech trigger to give you the ability to fine tune the pull weight of your trigger.
