The AR500 NEXT GEN Complete Upper Assembly allows users to transform their existing AR10 lower into an AR500 rifle. Using a non-proprietary DPMS-style upper, this kit includes everything needed to experience the unparalleled power of the AR500. Using modified SR25 magazines, the assembly is both compatible and highly customizable.
The kit features a completely assembled upper, an 18” barrel, adjustable gas block, muzzle brake, M-Lok handguard, bolt carrier group, buffer and buffer spring, and a five-round magazine. With an MSRP of $1,200, the Complete Upper Assembly delivers exceptional value and performance.

The 500 Auto Max cartridge is a rimless version of the 500 S&W Magnum. This versatile cartridge accommodates bullets ranging from 350 grains to an astounding 700 grains, making it suitable for applications ranging from precision shooting to stopping the largest game animals. The combination of this cartridge’s power and the AR500 platform creates an unparalleled shooting experience.

Big Horn Armory was founded in 2008 with the expressed intention of designing a Browning-type lever-action gun chambered in 500 Smith & Wesson Magnum. The Big Horn Armory Model 89, made in America, closely follows the work of John Browning with refinements courtesy of modern metallurgy and machining capabilities.
