USA Shooting Announces 2025 Shotgun Competitions, Accepting Junior Olympic State Host Applications

Colorado Springs, Colorado– February 2025 – USA Shooting and Hillsdale College with be hosting two national events and one international event this year at the Hillsdale College John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center. See below for the dates and competitions.

2025 USA Shooting Shotgun National Championships

  • May 21-25: Skeet
  • May 28-June 1: Trap
  • Hillsdale, Michigan

2025 USA Shooting Shotgun Junior Olympic Championships

  • June 20-22: Trap
  • June 27-29: Skeet
  • Hillsdale, Michigan

2025 World Shooting Para Sport (WSPS) Shotgun Paralympic World Cup

  • June 23-26
  • Hillsdale, Michigan
  • Stay tuned for math programs and registration links.

USA Shooting is also currently accepting applications for 2025 Shotgun Junior Olympic host sites until February 1. Applications much include match programs.

All state Junior Olympic matches are to be held between March 1, 2025, and June 14, 2025. All clubs will be notified by email as to whether or not their application was selected.

About the John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Education Center

The Halter Center is a state-of-the-art shooting facility located five miles from the Hillsdale College campus. Opened in 2008, the Center aims to introduce individuals to shooting sports and encourage interest across all levels of experience. The Halter Center also serves an educational purpose by promoting the principles of the Constitution and teaching beginner and experienced shooters in various classes. Home to Hillsdale College’s collegiate shooting teams and the USA national team, the Halter Center is also a resource for the public through camps, conferences, and other programming. Hillsdale College has been the home of the USA Shooting National Team since 2019 and has hosted USA Shooting Junior Olympic Trap and Skeet development camps and championships.
