CzechPoint Imports the VZ 58 Rifle

Knoxville, Tennessee- May 2025- Production started on the VZ 58 Assault Rifle in 1959. Designed in the late 1950s, the VZ 58 was Czechoslovakia’s response to the AK-47. Using 7.62×39 ammo, the VZ 58 uses a short-stroke gas piston and striker-fired. CzechPoint imports the VZ 58 from its parent company, CSA (Czech Small Arms).

Arriving at their facility in Knoxville, Tennessee, the semi-automatic version is then converted using U.S.-made parts into the civilian legal VZ 58.
