Cimarron introduced the Lightning to the American public over 20 years ago. Based on an Uberti Lightning Stallion model pulled off the market due to soft sales, Harvey reimagined it for the modern shooter with a lighter frame and comfortable birds-head grip that allows fast target acquisition. The new Cimarron Lightning revolver went on to become one of Cimarron’s most popular and best-selling revolvers.
\Several years ago, Harvey suggested offering the Lightning in 9mm but was met with resistance on the European side due to its military nature. Persistence paid off, and the Cimarron Dual Cylinder .38 Special/9mm is now available in the US. The pistol comes with its fluted .38 cylinder and a 9mm smooth, or non-fluted, cylinder.
The new Lightning in 9mm is a perfect home defense or small game hunting revolver in a standard blue and case-hardened finish with smooth walnut grips for an MSRP of $784.46. Available in a 3 ½” barrel and 4 ¾” barrel.
The Pistolero, Cimarron’s classic Western revolver styled with a brass backstrap and trigger guard, smooth as silk action, is also now available as a Dual Cylinder 9mm. The 4 ¾” barrel and color case-hardened frame in standard blue comes with Cimarron’s smooth walnut grip for a highly affordable $695.83.
