Registration for the Civilian Marksmanship Program’s 2026 National Trophy Pistol and Rifle Matches is officially open! This year’s National Matches are set for July 12 to Aug. 9.

The annual event, held at the Camp Perry National Guard Training Base since 1907, is conducted through a partnership between the CMP and the Ohio National Guard. The series showcases a variety of indoor and outdoor events, with spectators welcome to witness this century-old tradition, free of charge!
The month-long schedule includes:
- Smallbore Rifle
- Air Gun
- Pistol
- Highpower/Vintage Rifle
- Rimfire Sporter Rifle
- Mid/Long-Range Rifle
All rifle and air gun matches are held on electronic targets, while pistol will utilize newly minted paper targets branded with CMP’s insignia!
Visitors to the National Matches are also encouraged to attend the many beach parties, food truck events, movie nights, sales opportunities, and more.
Whether participating for the first time, a seasoned competitor, or simply observing, the National Matches have something for everyone.
