The Talladega D-Day event honors the anniversary of the Allied Forces landing at Normandy Beach in France in 1944. Guests will be able to celebrate the heroes of the World War II generation through diverse marksmanship competitions and activities scattered throughout the 500 acres of Talladega Marksmanship Park.

Along with a lineup of exciting vintage rifle and challenging pistol events, the D-Day schedule will also include a special two-person NSCA Registered Sporting Clays Shotgun Match on Talladega’s 15-station Sporting Clays Loop!

A Garand Iron Man EIC Match will also be part of the D-Day line up. The course of fire for this match will be the Rifle National Match Course of Fire. Competitors that fire in the top 10% of eligible competitors will earn EIC Rifle points towards their Distinguished Rifleman Badge. Competitors may fire either a Service M1 Garand (CMP HP Rulebook) or As-Issued M1 Garand (CMP Games Rulebook). There will be two separate categories only if there are enough competitors in each category to award EIC Points.

A GSMM New Shooter Clinic along with an M1 Maintenance Clinic will also be held.

All experience levels welcome!
