Smyrna, Georgia– May 2026- GLOCK, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of firearms, has been awarded a contract to supply the Royal Canadian Mounted Police with their next duty pistol.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is Canada’s national police service, responsible for federal law enforcement and contracted policing in Canadian provinces and communities. The RCMP plays a key role in maintaining public safety across the country and has a long-standing reputation for service.

GLOCK will supply RCMP officers with new G45 pistols, together with RAMPART Corp., Canada’s leading supplier of operational equipment to military and law enforcement customers. The selection by the RCMP came only after an intense, competitive evaluation that involved extensive testing and safety qualifications. This included more than 20,000 rounds fired through the GLOCK pistols over two days and major drop-testing. After all equipment had passed the rigorous evaluation, the selection process moved forward.
The G45 pistols will be equipped with the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 red dot sight and the Streamlight TLR-7A rail-mounted weapon light, holstered in a Safariland 6360RDS holster and housed in a custom NANUK case.
