Highlights from Debbie’s year included back-to-back Lady II HAA and HOA Championship wins at two of the largest Trap championships in the country – the Pennsylvania State Shoot and the Ohio State Shoot. Debbie’s HOA win in her home state also earned her the prestigious 2022 PA State Lady II Champion title.

Debbie’s proved a strong leader at each event and came prepared to win the largest trap championship of all, the Grand American. Debbie broke 2,513 targets out of 2,600 and captured the Lady II ATA 2600 HOA Champion title. Mission accomplished. Lady II Clay Target Champion, Lady II Doubles Champion, and Lady II HAA Champion titles led up to the distinct honor of being the event’s top lady target breaker.

“I was very nervous going into the Clay Target Championship because I hadn’t broken a 100 during the whole Grand,” shared Debbie. “I stayed focused and broke all 200 targets, which entered me into the shoot-off, and I was fortunate to win. I had won the Clay Target Championship in the past when it was only the Women’s Category, then when they split the category I won it in the Lady I and now the Lady II Category. So I can say I have won it in all three ATA Lady Categories.”

The Grand American champion followed up her success by winning the Westy Hogans HAA and HOA Championships over the entire field back in her home state.

Since her career started, Debbie has won five Clay Target Championships, four Grand American Handicap Championships, eight Doubles Championships, fourteen HAA Championships, and thirteen HOA championships in the Ladies category at the Grand American alone. Trophies won at other trap events number into the hundreds.

Krieghoff congratulates Deborah Ohye-Neilson on another outstanding competition year, with many good wishes for continued success. Visit www.krieghoff.com for more information on our Team Krieghoff champions.
