“BONDING IN THE WILD” is the latest installment of Savage Arms’ blog series Savage Journeys which follows the travels of both new and seasoned hunters and shooters. This episode delves into the inspiring and heartwarming story of Marcus and Sean Gores. It follows the father and son duo as they head out on a once-in-a-lifetime hunt for Shiras Moose in Utah.
“BONDING IN THE WILD” unfolds against the backdrop of picturesque landscapes and family photo albums. Viewers can watch Marcus traverse a Utah mountainside while on the hunt for Shiras Moose.
Throughout the journey, Marcus reflects on his initial introduction to hunting through his father Sean. Both Gores recount how the shared moments of success and failure on hunts have culminated in countless incredible experiences as a family. From Marcus’s first big game hunting adventure in Africa at age 11 to his current work towards a Super Slam in Utah, this story shows how hunting can forge a lifelong connection to the outdoors across generations.
