Each year, the CMP’s lineup of rifle events features both modern and vintage opportunities, including the popular Springfield Armory M1A event – now retitled the M14 Heritage Match, sponsored by Fulton Armory. The event is scheduled for Aug. 4, 2024.
This year, the Fulton Armory M14 Heritage Match will take on an additional name, the McKee Memorial Match, to honor Clint McKee’s everlasting legacy to the gas gun world. McKee was the founder of Fulton Armory and spent over 30 years perfecting the maintenance and distribution of U.S. standard-issued rifles of yesterday and today.
For the match at Camp Perry, Fulton Armory has donated a custom-built M14 rifle to be presented to one lucky participant. This heirloom-grade rifle features a Fulton Armory M14 receiver and a new Criterion 22” chrome lined barrel, all hand-selected and fitted USGI components. It also comes with a NOS USGI walnut stock, faux selector lock, and a ventilated handguard, with painstaking attention to detail throughout.
In addition, Fulton Armory will be giving away many other noteworthy prizes to competitors of the match, regardless of the score, through a random drawing – no need to be present to win. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
See you on the range! The 2024 National Matches will be held from July 11 to Aug. 10. Find registration and other important info on the CMP website at https://thecmp.org/cmp-national-matches/.
