The 21 Sharp boasts several key features that set it apart from its counterparts. The straight profile, non-heeled bullets enable the use of efficient aerodynamic and modern bullet shapes. The results include enhanced accuracy, particularly with lead-free projectiles. With a velocity of up to 1,750 FPS in 25-grain bullets, the 21 Sharp cartridge delivers impressive speed and power, and its compatibility with 22 LR magazines ensures shooters’ ease of use and convenience.
One of the standout advantages of the 21 Sharp cartridge is its affordability. Priced between 22LR and magnum rimfire ammunition, shooters can enjoy the benefits of a high-performance cartridge without breaking the bank. With bullet weights ranging from 25 to 42 grains, the 21 Sharp cartridge caters to various shooting needs, including plinking, small game hunting, and target shooting.
Initial Savage rifles chambered in 21 Sharp will include three MARK II models and one B Series model. Target shooters will be able to fully utilize this cartridge in a modern, comfortable-shooting rifle with the B Series F. Its button-rifled barrel pushes precision to new levels and its ergonomic stock plus availability in left and right-hand models provides shooters with a range of options to suit individual preferences.
Multiple Mark II options in 21 Sharp will also appeal to a variety of shooters and hunters as all 21 Sharp options feature the revolutionary AccuTrigger. The Mark II F with its rugged build, the Mark II F Minimalist Green with its lightweight design, and the shorter barreled Mark II FV-SR represent a diverse lineup and provide specific features for early 21 Sharp adopters to choose from and use.
