The RD NATO takes all that we’ve done in AK training, research, tuning and manufacturing over the years into one of the best custom AKs. Sometimes the most interesting love stories are the most tangled, an American cartridge with a Soviet gun just happens to be an beautiful odd couple.
We have a limited supply of 5.56x45mm AK kits, so we went with two of our most popular options a 11.5″ pistol and 14.5″ pin and weld rifle based on our 1913 rear trunnion.
These are kitted with our new RD SLR Rifleworks M-LOK handguard and Midwest folding M4 Buffer assembly. The RD NATO is a great caliber to add to your line up if you are looking for a small caliber AK with a plethora of different ammo selections from target, defense, and frangible.
When tuned with our gas block this rifle becomes one of the softest shooting 5.56 guns in your arsenal.
