The CYSSA is a fantastic organization that promotes firearm safety and teaches young people how to use firearms safely and responsibly. The Hot Shots have been a great example of this, with their impressive performances in recent tournaments.

On March 25th, 2023, the Hot Shots competed in the CYSSA Trap Tournament #2 at the Auburn Trapshooting Club in Auburn, CA. Easton Wilcox, a member of the Rookie (Elementary School) division, took home first place with a score of 77/100. In the Intermediate Entry (Middle School) division, Colin Schwartz took first place with an impressive score of 92/100. Finally, in the Junior Varsity (1st year High School) division, Jimmy Smith took first place with an outstanding score of 96/100.

The Hot Shots’ success continued on April 1st, 2023, when they competed in the CYSSA Trap Tournament #3 at the Fallon Trap Club in Fallon, NV. GForce Arms is excited to be a part of the Hot Shots’ journey and believes that youth sports shooting programs are an excellent way for children to learn gun safety and responsibility. It’s important to expose children to firearms healthily and safely, and sports shooting is a fantastic way to accomplish this goal. We look forward to continuing our support of the Hot Shots and other youth sports shooting programs in the future.

As the CYSSA season continues until mid-June when the state championships will be held, the Hot Shots will continue to practice and compete in both trap and skeet. After the championships, they will switch to sporting clay practice to prepare for the upcoming season in October. If you wish to sponsor or donate to the Hot Shots team their 501 (c) 3 number is 46-2101141 and their Nevada Charitable Organization number is E0096882013-7.

At GForce Arms, we are committed to supporting youth sports shooting programs and promoting firearm safety. We believe that these programs play an essential role in helping young people learn how to use firearms safely and responsibly. Congratulations to the Hot Shots on their impressive performances this season, and we look forward to seeing their continued success in the future.
