Team Winchester Conquers the NSCA Western Regional in Phoenix

Phoenix, Arizona– April 2024– Team Winchester came out in full force at the recent NSCA Western Regional in Phoenix, Arizona, taking five of the top six scores in the main event. Anthony Matarese secured the top score overall in the main event with Team Winchester members, Zach Kienbaum and Theo Ribbs taking second and third place.

The Matarese, Kienbaum, Ribbs trio all shot the AA Super Handicap, 1 1/8 oz, 1,250 fps target load in the main event, one of the most popular rounds among competitive sport shooters.

With several other runner-up and third-place finishes in various events, it is safe to say Team Winchester is a force to be reckoned with in the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester.

  • Connor Daniels: Main Event – Junior Champion, FITASC – Junior Runner Up, Super Sporting – Junior Runner Up, 5 Stand – Junior 3rd
  • Kayla Wilgus: Super Sporting – Lady 3rd

The Western Regional is the first stop on the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester. Held at Pinnacle Shooting Sports, Ben Avery in Phoenix, Arizona, this venue is a world-class shooting range with a five-star rating from the National Association of Shooting Ranges.

The Western Regional was also one of the stops for the year-long, Winchester Ladies Cup.

The Southeast Regional is the next stop and the second of eight total shoots on the 2024 NSCA Championship Tour, Powered by Winchester, and will take place April 10 – April 14, 2024. The season finale takes place this October in San Antonio, Texas at the National Shooting Complex where a new National Champion and Winchester Ladies Cup Champion will be crowned.
